TWIST is the direct result of the deep connection owners Paul Schneider and Lauren Eulau have with the professional artist and designer. From their prior incarnations as a potter and weaver who sold their art for a living, to creating a visual landscape of finely chosen pieces, they have built an ever-changing collection of fine design and wearable art. The relationships they have with each individual artist and designer have become rich with sharing, regular interactions and mutual respect.
TWIST and TWISTonline live in Portland, Oregon where the vibrant, creative atmosphere has provided a home for industries such as NIKE, adidas usa and the renowned ad firm Wieden + Kennedy. It is also the scenic canvas for one of America's most active farm to table food cultures, a cutting edge music scene and a well established and flourishing arts community.

Koteswarri S Hailey Kalil is the neighbour. She posted a video where the store plays really loud music that she and her other neighbours can't hear their own TVs. She tried talking to the manager/ owner and the manager/ owner just said that Haley never introduced herself to them before... like idk? 😅

@@koteswarris8949 yes, and this jewelery maker was incredibly hostile and rude to Hailey when Hailey asked for the volume to be loweded (the store was closed and they were all partying) The owner sounded intoxicated/drugged as well

I love your story❤ And how you like to keep your 22 karat gold, very organic. I only work with sterling silver, copper, brass, bronze, unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to work with gold. Due to the expense. I’m a self-taught Silver Smith and I do teach, but I’m still trying to find my niche in the jewelry world, I’m so glad that another designer expressed how she loved certain channels, and I have been checking them out here on UA-cam. So far I have found twist to be very inspiring. Everybody’s stories put that tear in the corner of my eye. I visited Disas jewellery exhibition booth one year at the Goldsmiths Fair. I approached and asked her politely the price for a particular item as she did not advertise her price s there. She answered very abruptly "lots"! That was it. So rude I was stunned in front of other visitors. For someone so accomplished and and well known I felt that was so unecessary and disappointing. It was a put down by her Gavial expression and to e of voice. Nearly fell backwards as none of the other jesellery mskets behaved ridely at all. They were a very nice and polite to their public . I have never forgotten that experience . What a shame really . I shared my experience with my own jewellry teacher who is still head of the jewellery department at Kensington and Chelsea college and she too was quite amazed as well. Disa must have had a bad day or something or someone else got up her nose before I came along . Bad timing I guess. I !ijed her work but then decided her ttitude was a let down then . Hope she has recovered and is not still speaking to people who are genuinely interested in her work in that manner. It's nice when people are keen to talk about an artist's work with them and it should be welcomed as a personal compliment to the artist . I am also a visual artist so fully understand this.

Interesting designs. I also make sculls, mostly because I don't have a clue, what women want.. ;P Funny thing though is, when people have writing on their fingers, they always(?) can be read by those looking at them, but when putting on a ring, it's faced towards them selves.

A M A Z I N G!! i can't afford her jewelry, maybe some day i will, but i appreciate her talent and how she brings fantasy into jewelry. Her pieces are unique and fun, dynamic and with a subtle touch of a romantic melancholy at the same time, you can tell that it is inspired by her childhood.
